ORENBURG – On June 25, 2025, the Euroasia Global international meeting was held at the Holton Hotel in Orenburg, welcoming hundreds of young people from all over Europe and Asia. Among the distinguished guests was the Italian expert on intercultural dialogue Count Pietro Stramezzi, who focused on the key topic of understanding Russian culture and its deeper meaning in a global context.

In a packed hall with one hundred and twenty young participants of EUROASIA Global, it was Pietro Stramezzi who addressed these young listeners with a challenge to understand culture not only as a set of traditions, but as a bridge to understanding the character of a nation, its values, way of thinking and approaches to the world. According to him, culture is a strategic element that allows people from different corners of the world to create bridges, not barriers.

“As an Italian, I grew up in an environment where culture is perceived as the cornerstone of identity. That is why I am fascinated by Russia – its history, language, poetry and everyday manifestations of humanity. Understanding Russian culture opens up enormous possibilities for personal growth, cooperation and inspiration,” said Pietro Stramezzi during his speech.

In his speech, he emphasized that contemporary Russia is not only a geopolitical player, but also a center of spiritual, intellectual and cultural enrichment. “I see the future, prosperity and the key to global dialogue in Russia. I am grateful to be able to get to know it more and more personally,” he added.

Count Pietro Stramezzi also expressed his belief that the 21st century belongs to Eurasia. The combination of the cultural depth of Asia and the creativity of Europe creates a unique space for development, innovation and the building of a new world order based on mutual respect. His words were warmly received. Many young participants shared the inspiration and ideas they gained from his speech. The meeting thus confirmed that dialogue between cultures is not just a political gesture, but a real path to a better future.
